The Sea and Cake - Parasol A name, at least the first 3 works feel like a dive into a pool filled with the scents of rum, lemon, sugarcane, the Cure lounging in a hammock staring at the flight of insects. Smiles, yawns, and a peace that few things can provide. Post lemonade with a splash of alcohol, things that are undefinable in their simplicity, simplicity because itā€™s inexplicable, enclosed in a pop can for supposed gourmets. Their early works arenā€™t simple if you open your ears and let yourself sway in the shade with a good glass of fresh indifference, at least for a moment just letting go, only music. A sweet swaying, soft images, and maybe a nice nap while forgetting about the flies, a lovely interlude on a scratchy day. I recommend a good breath of fragrant and fizzy air; it canā€™t hurt you for sure.
