I remember it as if it were yesterday. None of us could imagine it. It was the first day of summer. The most anxious people, waiting for the results, passed the time commenting on reviews about Vasco Rossi. Some, like @[Dislocation], were secretly warming up frozen focaccine. Most lowered their masks to avoid being caught hyperventilating under the blazing sun. I was cheerful and calm (I couldn't imagine what would happen soon!): not so much because my modest review of the best film ever made was topping the charts (right alongside the cow), but rather because, while heading to the coop with Ella Fitzgerald in my head (https://en.debaser.it/p/221238 I discovered - the wonder of wonders - that half-kilo buffalo mozzarella was 40 percent off. Poor fool. None of us could imagine that soon, the site with the cow would become unrecognizable. A few hours later, a penguin (not Batman's, a different one) would dethrone @[G] and turn the cow-site into yet another ondarock. And I, by voting for it, had contributed to the ruin of that untouched corner of the internet.

Sublime until Incantations. From this album onwards, only Irish tarantellas in a pop style, aside from the stratospheric 20 minutes of Crises.
