I report what was written on RUMORE regarding an exchange of opinions between Mark Lanegan and Liam Gallagher following the release of Mark's new autobiographical book. It's unnecessary to emphasize what I think about it. And how do you see it?

"....It was inevitable that something would happen. In Mark Lanegan’s new autobiographical book, Sing Backwards And Weep, there are passages like: “Where I come from, people like Liam Gallagher don't last a week. At some point, they simply disappear and are found years later, torn apart in some grave in the woods.”
Liam must have received some other passages from the book and immediately responded. “Mark lannegn” (Lanegan: the (intentional?) mistake is in Liam Gallagher's original tweet)

What Liam is referring to is an episode recounted by Lanegan in Sing Backwards And Weep, which took place in 1996 when the Screaming Trees were supporting Oasis on their tour in the United States: “On the first day”, he writes, “Josh Homme and I were sitting at a catering table minding our own business. Gallagher walked in with an entourage of two big guys who looked like bodyguards and another guy, maybe a journalist or a press agent. ‘Howling Branches!’ [mocking the name of Lanegan's band, Screaming Trees] he shouted. I kept eating without saying anything. ‘Howling Branches?’ he asked, bewildered, pretending a crazy intensity. I realized he was talking to me and trying to make a poor joke with exaggerated intensity of an insult. The silly game about the band name and the rude intrusion irritated me.” Lanegan responds this way:
FUCK YOU, STUPID FUCKING IDIOT
And he continues to recount: “That was my brief impassive response, delivered as if I were addressing an annoying mosquito.” The story continues with Liam threatening physical attack and Lanegan accepting the challenge. But after a few days of tension and intimidation, when the moment for a showdown came, Liam didn’t show up. “Liam Gallagher was a poser, a failed bully. Like all bullies, he was also a total pussy.”
Lanegan's response to the former Oasis tweet didn’t take long:
COCAINE ADDICTS ARE JUNKIES TOO, YOU FUCKING IDIOT, THE STUPIDEST KIND. ARE YOU STILL TRYING TO ACT TOUGH? I COULD HAVE HURT YOU BADLY AND I STILL COULD. DROP IT, YOU FUCKING HEAD, UNLESS YOU’RE FINALLY READY TO STEP UP…"
