NOISY - So What?

The Dream Syndicate on "L.A. Hot Spots" U.S. TV 2/83 (filmed at Club Lingerie)
It was a revelation for me. I regret having seen them only a few years later, but that concert at the Lingerie Club must have been unforgettable since the cover of their EP is from that night.

Trento FF online | I CLAUSTROFILI
In this documentary film presented at the Trento Film Festival, which runs for about 30 minutes, you will find beautiful footage of some Sardinian caves that - I think - you won't find anywhere else. Some of the "actors" that you see and/or catch a glimpse of are my friends. The film was conceived and made by the director (who is also a speleologist) with the help of other speleologists who contributed to transporting equipment and participating in the shoots; the director worked very hard to complete it. For those who wish to take on the challenge, enjoy the viewing!

'Tales From Monographic Oceans': a spontaneous journey across a stretch of sea, cutting through the isthmuses of certain discographies (Pub-Rock 29, 1)
'Give me a pint of draught, give me some rock'n'roll': for a (brief) recap of a genre-not-genre that encapsulates everything we want from rock'n'roll. Thirst, sweat, and no tears, just fun: because the workday has been tough.

Gentlemen, can there be anything more horrifying than the sight of parts of a male body? I hope no one is offended, eh (sorry Stan) but let’s just say no thanks.

Royal Academy of Music - Il mattino
It's great to experience prog thanks to geniuses like Genesis, Yes, and King Crimson, but there are bands out there that deliver good vibes, you know.

Elio e le Storie Tese - Il Primo Giorno di Scuola - video by Scottecs

May an accident befall me if I remember even just one of my "first days of school" out of the 12 that there were and nothing...

Vote, vote, vote!

I find it right, after proposing the #usciamolezizze competition, to publish this morning photo of me in front of the mirror in the bathroom where I’m seen bare-chested...

Fate vobis!

Well tuned in to #radiocapish

This morning, for the column "The Baroque Mondays: at the court of the Capish King," we present the theorbo compositions of Robert De Visée (1655 - 1733), player at the court of King Louis XIV and King Louis XV and composer for various string instruments (guitar, lute, viola, and theorbo). The theorbo is a large string instrument that originated in the 16th century as a modification, attributed (presumably) to the Florentine Antonio Bardi, of the lute; it is used not only as a solo instrument but especially as a continuo bass.

Here the details about the recording: Robert de Visée / José Miguel Moreno - Pieces De Theorbe (1996, CD) | Discogs

Enjoy the listening.

Return to Pat. (1)
From the album "From This Place," released just before the apocalyptic COVID-19, February 2020, Pat Metheny and a largely new group, apart from Antonio Sanchez on drums, present us with this long dream as the opening track, which, as the title suggests, summarizes an undefined place: his America. About halfway through the piece, the intensity and drama of the sounds rise a bit like in Finding and Believing from "Secret Story": well, for me, he did it on purpose to make me cry and those few others affected by Methenyte. I feel very Cohen-esque tonight. Sundays depress me. This poem even more so. But it’s so beautiful.
I caught the outline of your breasts
from beneath your Halloween costume
I knew you were falling in love with me
for no man could have
noticed
the movement of your chest in his
imagination
It was a breaking away from your unusual
modesty
for me and me alone
through which you stamped on my
formless
desire
the incomparable and decisive outline
of your breasts
like two deep fossil shells
that stayed all night and
probably forever
Leonard Cohen
