This Sunday we present a classic.
E. Satie's "Vexations," posthumously discovered and first performed no less than by John Cage, is a theme (presumably written for piano) to be repeated 840 times.
Satie writes: "To play this motif 840 times in a row, one should prepare in advance, and in the deepest silence, with serious composure."
This recording, released by Philips in 1983, is Reinbert De Leeuw's performance of only 35 repetitions of the theme. Therefore, to listen to the complete vexations, the LP should be replayed 24 times.

We are at "Ciao" from 1999 (I don't know if the eponymous song will end up being one of the worst because it has a wonderful text set to toilet music) but today, on my day off work (for those who rest), I've chosen for you “In an hour I'll be there.” I never make it to the end of the track with that..."how can I not love you"...how can I not be fed up???...
These endlessly repeated choruses, which were not typical of Lucio...this ciao ciao ciao ciao, which is a pain in the ass and not a mantra as someone has written...these how can I, how can I do what??? or what a beautiful day two priests in a panda....
I'm hurting myself.

Let's return to EDOARDO SMERDATO, or 12 inconceivable songs from Benni. In 5th place, we find not one but two songs. One is the title track from the masterpiece SBANDATOH, while the other is the title track from the slightly more acceptable Le vie del rock sono infinite.

Aside from the fact that both are rather ugly, they also share a very similar chorus... not to mention it’s the same recycled melody from Sbandato in Le vie del rock (in fact, the chorus of Le vie del rock is ten times worse). Let's call them the twins of self-plagiarism.
