I was walking down the street
And in silence I could feel
Behind me the people
Whispering softly
How you betray me
And how I am
Alone at home.
Then someone, with a tone
Of an unnecessary saint,
Was very sorry
For me, and really so much.
What sublime talent
To cause harm
There is in people!
My God,
How I want
To turn around and shout:
"Do you,
What do you know
About my falls,
About my disasters?"
Fools!
Fools!
You know nothing,
Nothing at all.
Where is he, what is he,
You will never get there
Not ever.
My love,
My love,
Come and say something,
Come and do something,
To find something,
To rediscover something
That was in us.
Fools!
What fools!
What I think and what I feel,
What I burned and what I feel,
What I stole and what I spent,
These things people
Never know.
The phone rings
From a thousand distances,
Strange friends and even
Stranger alliances.
Everyone wants to say
And yet not say the problem
That is here present.
Every glance I meet
In the bar below my house
Is a crossroads of pain
And silent understanding,
And then someone shakes
Their head to say:
"Case closed."
My God,
How I want
To turn around and shout:
"Do you,
What do you know
About my falls,
About my disasters?"
Fools!
Fools!
You know nothing,
Nothing at all.
Where is he, what is he,
You will never get there
Not ever.
My love,
My love,
Come and do something,
To save something,
Come and say something,
We can say anything
If you want.
Fools!
What fools!
He only loved me,
Yes, I betrayed him
And I also left him.
And here’s what I will never
Say.
Yes, I betrayed him
And I also left him.
And here’s what I will never
Say!

If it had been written by the vile serenader de Andrade -- of whom only the ominously irregular face and possibly apocryphal abduction are remembered -- everyone would be bowing before the icon of Don Gallo...

From Finland, the tribute to the most famous Hungarian in Italy.

Picking up on the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I would like to pay a sort of "tribute" to a great artist such as Ivano Fossati, with a ranking of his albums (from 1981 to 2003) from the least beautiful to the best...

N°1: "La Pianta Del Tè" (1988)
And here we are, at Ivano's first great masterpiece and his greatest masterpiece. The album that definitively established Fossati as a "first-class musician," from here on the lyrics will become increasingly refined and hermetic (a characteristic also present in the albums to come), and the music and arrangements will take on "ethnic" and, from a certain point of view, experimental qualities. There is also a second version of La Costruzione Di Un Amore, this time not tormented and "felt" but "perfect" and crystal clear. Let’s not forget the two parts of the title track, featuring a wonderful Una Ramos on flute.

The masterpiece of the album: La pianta tè

Asia Minor - Northern Lights hidden masterpiece of the 80s.

Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart (Official Audio)

I'm not a fan of the Boss, but if only there were more passionate ones like this...
The song, damn, how many great memories...
