Okay, there have been many things in this World Cup.

After the match against Brazil (that shamefully disallowed goal by Antognoni and a fantastic save by Dino Furlano (like the Vêcjo, like even that idiot Teor) at the last second, it was clear that Italy had seen the light!

Only the legendary Germany - Italy match of 1970 can compete, in terms of emotion, with this game.

But unfortunately, there are people who weren't even born back then.

To them, my comfort and my best wishes for a future that exceeds the best possible past.

This piece - from ESVDM - cannot help but remind us occasional Friulians of the unforgettable snowfall of eighty-six.
Well: it was eighty-five, but the liaison required that I make a mistake on purpose.

It came to mind because in my area, where it hasn’t seriously snowed since that date, something between rain and snow is coming down; a substance that my friends from Sauris (including Carla) call "Neverda."
I hope it's easy to deduce the contraction.
