Joe:Louis Knocks Out Tony Galento In Full Color

1939 The black champion Joe Louis defeats Tony Galento in a colorful match. It's worth noting how no one applauds him (the black man) and at the end of the bout, the police (about ten officers) come in with their clubs, perhaps because back then, after a fight, both opposing teams would often end up in a brawl.

Steve Marriott among the greatest of all time

- latest episode

So: a psychophysical breakdown, second marriage gone, manager who ripped him off again (Steve says to promote Frampton's solo career), risking his life with the mafia... and what was missing? The tax office wanting a hundred thousand dollars (which the good Anthony didn’t pay, pocketing that too).
The 80s/90s for Marriott would be a tragic novel with a thousand adventures only he could tell; at times he had to steal food and return empty bottles for a few coins. He reconnects with Lane - seriously ill - and before the end also with Frampton. Destroyed but never beaten... playing was his life, he was always looking for and trying out new projects without ever really arriving. However, he had three wonderful children during that decade and especially before he died, Steve was playing - in the most absurd places - something like 200 concerts a year. Then that damn (or Blessed?!) April 19, returning from the States, he argues with Toni, his third wife, drunk and disoriented, doesn’t stay with friends to enjoy it but runs home... and here comes the nighttime fire from a lit cigarette...
A shit death, bad luck even in dying...
Someone like him deserved a wild party
