The Pretty Things-Rosalyn

Journey through beautiful, noble, moldy “Cute Things” (3)

What a piece! Together with the Sonics and so many others, the genuine rock 'n' roll - garage - with that punk attitude… ten years earlier…

So High So Low

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Spread Your Love

This was actually recommended to me by @[fedezan76]
I like it - even considering that this slightly dragged-out '90s rock doesn’t really drive me crazy -
3/4 really beautiful …

Jam On It

"Two turntables with a mic, and I learned to rock like Dolymite" 😎

Tuned in to #radiocapish

Before shutting down for a good couple of months, this morning we invite you to listen to the first Suite from Pièces de violes avec la basse chiffrée (1728) by François Couperin, for the column “Baroque Mondays: at the court of the Capish King,” featuring the interpretation by Jordi Savall and Ariane Maurette on viola and Ton Koopman on harpsichord, recorded on behalf of Alia Vox.

Enjoy listening,
and see you soon.

I don't know how, at seventeen, I managed to study with this stuff in my ears.

#paparazzi #novella2000DeB
What do the celebrities of DeB do all summer? How do they spend their billions painstakingly collected under their mattresses (and evaded from proper taxes)? We're here to uncover it all!

Blackalicious - Alphabet Aerobics

Two days ago, Gift of Gab left us, a lyrical acrobat more than a rapper. I like to remember him with this fun showcase of style. Safe travels, dear.

The Byrds "Mr. Tambourine Man" on The Ed Sullivan Show

#edsullivanshow

From 1948 to 1971, every Sunday night Ed Sullivan hosted the biggest and most famous artists on his show, broadcast on CBS. About a decade ago, it was reissued in 12 DVDs, and an Italian newspaper published the best performances. I’m sharing them with you; there are truly wonderful things.

Tyler, The Creator - LUMBERJACK
Another cool album for Tylerone... how much I care for him!

"Televise" is a magnificent work by Calla. Whispered in a nocturnal metropolis hidden by a thick spectral drizzle under the pale light of neon signs Calla - Astral [OFFICIAL AUDIO]
A record to be rediscovered, the subsequent "Collision" failed to match the melancholy of a shadowy room wallpapered with memories.

Nightmares on Wax - Aftermath

For the series "Dance It Off", seventh chapter.

The Englishman George Evelyn, known as Nightmares on Wax, has had a musical journey similar to that of New Yorker Moby, but with significantly greater talent. Today we go back to 1991 and listen to "Aftermath", an excellent example of his "techno phase". The track includes a sample from "Jam on It" by Newcleus, a classic of the 1980s electro scene.

Enjoy.

#2012 #removedfromthemind
If memory serves me right, "Electric Sound Of Summer" covers a musical roundabout that starts with Stereolab and meets the very latest pop vein of Sonic Boom. To make a long story short, it features lysergic electronic pieces that come and go, building minimal melodies. Rating 4.5/6
