Heartbreaker, from the very first notes of the guitar riff, then even worse when it changes chords, and when Coverdale cries and screams, though far from matching the intensity and technique of His Enormity Robert Plant, still chews and spits out the tested and controversial heart of the poor Dislo wanderer in this wicked and treacherous world.
Crowning jewel of a beautiful and still underappreciated album... The only flaw of this blessed record is the cover, which straddles the line between the grotesque and the stupid, but why?

An emerging band promotes their first EP. The first track kicks off, and a half-falsetto, half-furious voice bursts out, reminiscent of Killing Joke. How can one not be shocked?!
It's a pity that King Diamond as a solo artist loses the mystical esotericism of Mercyful in exchange for a rather formulaic metal with bursts of double bass and that’s it.
