Fabio Concato - Breve sogno (1977)

I remember the hot and sultry Sicilian summer days. The table was adorned with flowers, the jasmine blending with the whiteness of his mustache. When he stirred that big pot, he looked like a sorcerer, even had a hooked nose and a few "porretti" on his face. The ingredients were respectively: sweet bone flour, blood of striped green cask, amber star powder, bark earth, and finally, solidified black jungle tears.
By now sated, accustomed to the sound of cicadas, you let yourself be rocked into an imminent rest.
I've never eaten such an enchanted gelo again.
