James Taylor - Something In The Way She Moves (Disco 2, 12/5/1970) These words tie the story of James Vernon Taylor to that of Sir George Harrison: "There's something in the way she moves."

It was the year '68 when Taylor, with his "quiet strength," secured an audition for the Beatles' Apple Records, held in the presence of Sir Paul McCartney and Harrison himself, the "quiet Beatle." The song in question was greatly appreciated by the two Beatles, so much so that they collaborated on the making of James's debut album.

Those words inspired George to later create his greatest success with the Beatles, namely "Something." Two wonderful songs that I share here in these links, representing these two music giants at their very best: James Taylor and George Harrison.
