The Byrds "Turn! Turn! Turn!" on The Ed Sullivan Show

#edsullivanshow

From 1948 to 1971, every Sunday night, Ed Sullivan hosted the greatest and most famous artists on his show, airing on CBS. About ten years ago, re-released in 12 DVDs, an Italian newspaper published the best performances. Here they are again, featuring truly wonderful moments.

La carrozza di Hans

Tonight I find myself listening to this piece for the umpteenth time, hoping it can give me something I've never found. Well, nothing. Ready to receive insults, I think this band is a bit overrated artistically; it seems to me that Italian prog bands take EVERYTHING from the English ones. This piece, in particular, seems like a copy of what I hear when listening to In The Court Of Crimson King. I find these pieces a bit unoriginal and too baroque, while I absolutely love 70s music. What do you think?

Tratto dal film "Figli di un Dio minore" (Children of a Lesser God)

How much I loved this movie, R.I.P. Mr Hurt!

America - Stereo
Albums like Silent letter, Alibi, View from the ground, Your move, and Perspective offer a delightful West Coast sound, Yacht rock...

Fausto Rossi ne ha per tutti: "De André fascista, Battiato un falso, Ed Sheeran non sa suonare" - Notizie - SENTIREASCOLTARE

Fausto Rossi has something to say about everyone: "De André is a fascist, Battiato is a fake, Ed Sheeran can't play."

The Crimson Shadows - Night Of The Maniacs

Yeah, I’ve already played them all but it's the full album that's been on repeat lately. Among the best garage albums + coolest singles of all time.

Anyway, I think I'm going to accept my real estate consultant's offer for a Parisian home on Place de Vorges for 4 million and 300 thousand euros… plus 200 to him, savansadir
@[sfascia carrozze] get the ladies ready because next year you all are my guests…

Arab Strap - The Turning of Our Bones (official audio)
Every now and then I have to listen to this track that drives me crazy, the Arabs I like are hypnotic, with a dark voice, violins, electronics, and obsessive rhythms.

The Gories - There But For The Grace Of God

Probably, actually definitely my favorite

#NEW and the Loop are back, honestly, it doesn't excite me. They, along with the guitarist from the #Heads, are a band I've loved decades ago and still love “those Loop,” but now finding myself with a band that reinterprets that circular sound that has influenced so many similar bands to exhaustion, well, they might be the same as before, but I’m not; I don’t want to ruin the memory of a band I loved yesterday and today, they were “those Loop.” I also experienced this with the return of My Bloody Valentine; feeling the passage of time and being left utterly disappointed by the present.
