Until two minutes ago, I didn’t even know who he was or that he existed; now, for me, he has become one of the greats of the Earth.

I read in my college buddy's blog that the musician Helmut Walcha lost almost all of his sight as a child due to a wrong vaccination.

He had extraordinary musical talent; to learn the pieces he read with difficulty, he memorized them, and then he played them without the help of sheet music.

With this method, he performed the complete works of Johann Sebastian Bach for organ, The Art of Fugue, and other works by Bach, as well as pieces by other composers and gnente...
