That being said, I don't agree with the Reverend. In my opinion, it's not an essential album even though it has some notable tracks but, above all, a Rock'n'Roll story that deserves telling… I’ll share it in a few episodes - and thanks for this, Rev -

A Little Story… continues… Episode 3: “… and it’s at that point that one of the older brothers of those fifteen-year-olds listening to the Ramones remembers having seen that damn drummer with a hook instead of his left hand on TV, with 'The Barbarians' written in black on white, right on the front head of the bass drum. Oh crap… so that’s who old Moulty was!

The Barbarians will participate in that show with sandals on their feet, and when after two years of that unsuccessful single (Hey Little Bird), which is one of the oldest and also the rudest and most vulgar garage-punk relics in history rediscovered years later by bands like Miracle Workers, Cannibals, and Chesterfield Kings, it will be time to put together a whole album, they still have those sandals on their feet on the cover photo."

Sandals? No way, damn it… Rockers - and Barbarian ones at that - wearing sandals… as if we were at Woodstock all smelly, holy shit!!!
