The Rokes - When The Wind Arises
It's spelled Rokes but pronounced Rocks, or the other way around phonetically, suit yourselves. Regarding the authorship of the piece, it's contested by the proto-longhairs, Battisti Mogol and good old Shapiro, basically an intercontinental mess, involving the embassies of Rome, London, New York. Was it worth it? #maybe yes.

THE CHURCH - The Unguarded Moment
Dark moments for the sacristans of Sidney, amidst puberty, young ladies with a Winchester instead of brains, and that menacing specter of Trevor Horn lurking in the rehearsal room. But between a handful of topexan and a kinderbrios, the white miracle of that sparkling jangle pop suddenly emerges, a piece I adore with a text for beautiful losers.

#psych Personally, I consider it a masterpiece of 90s psychedelia. Dreamlike amidst opioid fumes, slow rhythm, flutters of period synths, and a somnambulant voice that does little to draw attention. As I’ve already said, a masterpiece that should not be missed by anyone who takes their neurons accustomed to modern psychedelia on vacation to exotic places.

I mentioned that after a very enjoyable day trip, we would return to the maxima creature (alongside the Gories). The most interesting, varied, and enduring. So, returning to the encyclopedic double album, the first side (already listened to) was original stuff, while the second featured majestic covers this time of all kinds: the beloved usual Black, tributes to friends and contemporary brainless colleagues, pop and various knickknacks in Michelino's style.
