This morning at 7:45 in the car. I’m taking little Lucia, 20 months old, to her grandparents. She’s in the back with a pacifier in her mouth and her pajamas on. I ask her: shall we listen to some music? Yes! she replies. Or fairy tales? No! she replies firmly. I rummage through the glove compartment and pull out ACDC. I show it to Lucia and say: shall we listen to this? And she: yes! joyfully. After two minutes, I glance in the rearview mirror and catch her tapping her little index finger in time, gazing out the window carefree. AC/DC - Hells Bells
