AC/DC are an Australian hard rock band formed by Angus and Malcolm Young, known for raw riff-driven songs and large-scale live shows.

Formed in 1973. Bon Scott was the original singer until his death in 1980; Brian Johnson became the vocalist thereafter. Malcolm Young died in 2017. The band’s landmark album Back in Black (1980) is one of the best-selling rock albums.
