I don't know about you (ahem, aside from Iside...) but I’m crazy about broad beans!

BROAD BEANS WITH FENNEL GREENS ❤:

A rustic dish to serve as an appetizer or side dish. The sweet and delicate taste of broad beans pairs beautifully with the aroma of garlic and wild fennel.

Ingredients:
- 450 g of peeled broad beans
- 80 g of wild fennel
- 2 garlic cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Chili pepper
- Salt

Preparation:
Finely chop the wild fennel.
In a large pan, sauté the crushed garlic and chili pepper in oil.
Add the broad beans and mix well. Incorporate the wild fennel, add salt, mix everything thoroughly, cover the pan, and continue cooking for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally (the broad beans should remain firm and intact).
Serve hot accompanied by some slices of toasted bread.

"Fava Beans with Bacon"

🔹INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kilogram of fresh fava beans
- 200 grams of bacon
- 1 small onion
- half a glass of Gallura Vermentino white wine
- olive oil
- salt and pepper.

🔹PREPARATION:
After shelling the fava beans, place them in plenty of salted water and bring to a boil, then drain them al dente.
Meanwhile, chop the onion and the bacon into pieces.
In a frying pan, heat the oil, add the bacon and onion, and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the fava beans to the pan and season with salt and pepper, pouring in the white wine.
Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Serve hot and bon appetit!
