Verdena play really well, aided by fantastic drum sounds, a slight effect/delay on the vocals, and bass and guitar that make their mark both in sound and stage presence. I speak well of Verdena without considering the keyboardist a part of Verdena. He seems like a stage sound engineer who occasionally presses a keyboard, starts tracks, and even walks off the stage because he’s not needed.

"Take me away comes out in 2004, three years after 'You kill me,' a gem of One Dimensional Man, and immediately amazes the listener." "One Dimensional Man is one of the absolute best bands in the Italian music scene, with a well-defined identity that still manages to amaze by innovating just enough to appease both progressives and conservatives."

Prozac still draw people but give the sad impression of a band living on past successes. The attempt at evolution by introducing electronics didn’t seem like a stroke of genius.

Too much gear on stage, serving just to flaunt something unclear. Extrema aren’t young anymore, but they want to be at all costs, mixing pure metal, which I personally can’t stand, with rehashed nu-metal.

The repetitiveness of the electronics triumphs, leaving the listener suspended once again like in the days of 10 000 hertz legend. Alone in Kyoto is splendid, lulling the listener with its calm into who knows what journeys...
