This album can be defined in some ways as "similar" to Devourment's records like 'Molesting The Decapitated', but it has its own characteristics. 10 songs of pure "Sound Massacre" as we metalheads like to say, of musical violence.

Imperial Doom is an excellent album, with good breaks, fantastic solos, and Fisher’s legendary voice, with a raw growl but angry that completely matches the album’s soundscape. Monstrosity is just another Death Metal band, but unfortunately, they never achieved much success or recognition and remain for many 'The old band of the Cannibal singer.'

The band doesn’t try to express something of their own, produces a decent album but one that reeks (besides corpselike) of already heard. This is a common thing for many bands in this genre, and I, in fact, as a fan encourage Guttural Engorgement to continue to delight us.

Guttural Engorgement's album delivers typical slam brutal death metal with short, slow-paced tracks dominated by guttural vocals. While solid and listenable, it lacks originality and innovation. The album is a decent contribution to the genre but does not stand out significantly. The reviewer appreciates the genre but expects more creativity from bands like this. Discover Guttural Engorgement’s raw slam brutal death metal—listen now and explore the depths of underground brutality!
I was pleasantly surprised by this album, especially by the singer’s voice, rotten and gurgled in an impressive way. They simply play a beautifully heavy Brutal Death, without neglecting technique but also not ignoring the sonic impact.

The band is indeed very inspired by traditional Death, Thrash, and partly by Grind. The growler sings with a very low and rotten tone, the drums willingly burst into blast beats and the guitars grind fast riffs like Cannibal Corpse.

Avulsed's 'Gorespattered Suicide' stands out as a unique album mixing brutal death metal with traditional death, thrash, and grind influences. The vocalist's rotten growl adds to the brutality, balanced by melodic elements and keyboards. Highlights include the violent title track and a well-executed Motorhead cover. While not the most technically advanced, the band delivers honest and enjoyable death metal. Recommended for fans of extreme metal genres. Suffocation were the first with their 'Effigy Of The Forgotten' to invent a new way of playing death metal. The album flows like this, full of slowdowns... but the impact is almost greater.

The technique of our three musicians is truly of the highest level, the riffs are incredibly fast and intricate, occupying the entire guitar fretboard. To make it short, this is a great album from a band worthy of the Brutal Death podium, a true reality of the genre.

This album is angry, but that’s not enough. The terrible screams of the singer are rather irritating.
