Epica The Score - An Epic Journey
Voto:
I find it a good review, but it seems to me that dwelling on the meagerness of certain tracks makes it a bit heavy. The joke about insomnia is funny. From what I know about Epica, it's true that the quality of the songwriting is extremely varied; it leaves me bewildered, and I'll tell you that I still haven't figured out whether I like her voice or if it irritates me. I can feel that she's skilled, but sometimes it seems to me that there's anxiety in the way she sings. Do you know who she reminds me of? Whitney Houston; obviously very talented, but after a while, she wears me out—"nun la reggo".

The poetic soul of debaser... I haven’t seen much of it recently, I hope you'll write more reviews soon... or stories, poems, novels, historical essays, travel pamphlets, for the joy of those who read! Bye bye
Dargaard Rise And Fall

Your review is a pleasure to read, thanks to its smoothness and calm tones. The only thing I slightly disagree with is the "pompous" comment regarding Ave Atque Vale, which is, out of all the pieces I know by Dargaard, the one I like the most overall; it has hypnotized me, especially at the end, for so long. I would describe it as incredibly delicate. I'm glad you reviewed them; they are truly talented. Bye bye.

Although your preparation is as always top-notch, the bitterness that seeps from this review makes it seem less dazzling than your recent ones. Certainly, it's more challenging to review an album you don't like, but personally, I would dwell less on the aversion felt because "it's tiresome." I really enjoyed Ravenheart; the CD includes the video, which is truly hypnotic. And her voice I find absolutely fantastic. However, the other tracks on the same CD were a disappointment. According to what you write, they don't even know what they want to do with themselves; it's a shame, there are so many bands with female singers that aren’t worth much, if she were there, it would elevate their tone... bye bye LL.
Lacrimosa Inferno

Great review in an hagiographic style, is that what you call it? From prehistory to the post-modern era of Lacrimosa hehe. But this clown of Stelio, whom you call famous, I don’t know, did I miss something? I really liked this album; he has a warm and masculine voice, and while at first the percussion seemed excessively "noisy," I realized they have to be that way; in fact, they are a distinctive feature of the whole, making the tracks stand out nicely, a reasoned chaos, so to speak, and they provide satisfaction, you know, they give satisfaction. I also have Elodia, but I like this one more. Bye bye.

Interesting point of view expressed with due vehemence. The lively debate is amusing. Stunning "lagna-rock", that alone would be enough to give you the maximum, heheheheheh.

Sniff sniff... I'm struggling to keep up with the pace at which you churn out reviews, lucky you, I'm envious though. Have you ever thought about starting a nice blog dedicated to us few chosen ones? Count on me if you do; the only risk is that I'd bore everyone with samples from Autumn Tears, which even most of the chosen ones don’t like, heheheh. Anyway, selling to Tarjuccia, poor star, your report almost brought tears to my eyes, I need a tissue please. I'll definitely look into this album, so I have the impression that you were useful to me again today. By the way, I have to tell you that the Qntal I discovered thanks to dreamwarrior's comment under your Elane review are really good, and recently I found the Espers, perhaps not groundbreaking but more than enjoyable. Take care, have a good day!

It seems like the beginning of a promising review, but maybe next time you can add more information and impressions. Bye bye

Wow! Wow. My comment on your review is: wow. Listen, I'm going to see them in Rome on March 30th, are they leaning too much into metal? I don't know this album at all, and if I may say, with all the fuss made about "The Silent Force," ehhhm, for me it represents the best of W.T. On one thing, we completely agree: Sharon's voice is extraordinary; when I heard her for the first time, I thought she was a nightingale, making a lot of other singers disappear underground—except for Tarja, of course, but the others, yes. Anyway, if they don’t play Somewhere and Gillian at the concert, I’ll do a sit-in.
Epica Consign To Oblivion

A detailed review but perhaps a tad impersonal. The many parentheses make reading slightly tiring; commas, semicolons, colons or periods are alternatives to make the text flow better—there you go, I was a teacher for many years and there's no denying it, the red pen is always at hand hehehehehe! Epica doesn't drive me crazy, but I quite liked the tracks you suggested, so... adding to the cart! Bye bye.
