Read a lifetime and a half ago, I remember it as my first book by De Carlo, a discovery for me back then, gifted many times, and recommended to countless people. Definitely my favorite (maybe because it was the first?), then I didn't let any slip away, until a few years ago. A bit of a concise review, but it conveys.

I have read almost all of them too (I only skipped his spy stories, they don't catch my interest). "Cards on the Table" is indeed a good example of Christie's "dialectic," especially because the possible murderers, in this case, are really few, and it's quite difficult to say precisely who did the killing! I also really enjoyed "In My End Is My Beginning," "The Portrait of Elsa Greer," "It's Too Easy," "A Murder Will Take Place," along with the classic "And Then There Were None." Well done!

At the time, I managed to find the vinyl before it went out of print for good... I keep it as a relic!!! Such a great record, partially revisited later in "love sexy."

I’ve never heard this album in particular, but Mike Francis made some wonderful things in the mid-'80s; the radio played very little else! And besides, shall we talk about his soul voice? Talented and nice, even though shy and not very media-friendly, it's a shame he was soon forgotten... dear Paolo, how did you come up with the idea of talking about Mike on Debaser? If just a few people notice you, they’ll crucify you! :D
