Valeria Rossi Ricordatevi Dei Fiori

Well, in my opinion, she is one of the most misunderstood and unjustly underrated singers in Italian music. I don't know her albums, but those 5 or 6 songs of hers that I've heard I like; they are light in an intelligent way. Perhaps the worst one is precisely Tre parole. Definitely an unlucky girl.
Vasco Rossi Ma Cosa Vuoi Che Sia Una Canzone

The most beautiful album by Vasco, along with Liberi liberi. In terms of lyrics, there are some remarkable things; you can tell that back then he wasn't yet affected by that form of dyslexia that later led him to write inconclusive lyrics filled with eeehh ohhh and various monosyllables.

Undoubtedly, she can sing, but this famous "particular voice" is nothing more than a blatant imitation of a famous English-speaking singer... so I don't see all these merits. Then, it's obvious that the album is well-produced and well-packaged; at certain levels, it's hard to produce crap. That said, the tracks, as successful as they may be in their own way, are ultimately predictable and uninteresting. In short, it's not a matter of stubbornness, at least on my part; it's simply a way of making music that I don't like. Does it have to please me by force? =)
Vasco Rossi Liberi Liberi

The most beautiful album by Vasco, along with "Ma cosa vuoi che sia" being a song. In a way, it's his swan song, since after that, aside from a handful of nice songs, he never released anything at the same level in terms of albums. P.S.; you mentioned two of the most meaningless songs ("faccio il militare" and "ieri ho sgozzato mio figlio") that Vasco has ever made.

This interpretation is amusing, although I hope you don’t take it too seriously. The song is about a couple’s relationship and the difficulties within it, where the man suffers seeing the woman in pain and tries to fix things and make her happy. Generally speaking, that’s the meaning, and there’s no double entendre in the word "pene"; it seems quite ridiculous to think otherwise. =)

Very nice album, although in my opinion his masterpiece (which almost no one understood) remains the first album. He has changed a lot since then, musically speaking. A small note; he has been to Festivalbar more than once, with Drago and Musica, they should also be found on YouTube.

The first stories are very beautiful, but then it becomes so boring that I couldn't continue. I'll go read the last one.

Nice and well written. You deserve a 5.. I don't understand how so many people take you seriously. Up until Manzoni, it was even believable. Not here. =)
CCCP - Fedeli alla linea Canzoni, preghiere, danze del II Millennio

@LUX; I thought my comment was clear, but perhaps I was mistaken. The fact that you think Dream Theater sucks doesn’t make any difference; they were just an example of a band that should be judged exclusively from a musical perspective; whether Petrucci is a communist or a neo-Nazi makes no difference regarding the value (high or low) of his music. The case of CCCP is different, as their significance is not exclusively musical, but cultural in a broader sense. I don’t believe that CCCP simply play post-punk. Their music mixes a wide array of elements, musical and otherwise, and the result is something unique that cannot be replicated by anyone else. At least, that’s my opinion; feel free to think differently. =)

Well, in my opinion, in this case, it can't be said that they should be evaluated while remaining indifferent to the political side. We are not talking about Dream Theater; we are discussing a band whose value is, first and foremost, cultural, rather than strictly musical. Therefore, it's logical that when approaching the band, one must take into account what their name represents, some of their lyrics, etc. Imagining that an album like "affinità" could have been conceived by a neo-Nazi group seems absurd to me; that album could only have been conceived by them, and them alone. That said, it still seems reductive to label them as a communist band; Modena is a communist band. The CCCP is a complex, multifaceted, polysemous group. A band that provokes, that creates turmoil in people's consciences. A group that expresses deep anxieties, discomfort, and torment. A band difficult to decipher, where the Soviet element is present, but it's not easy to define its role; certainly aesthetic, as a symbol of rebellion against the Western system. In short, dismissing this as a group of communists exalted by Soviet Russia seems rather superficial to me.
