Imani Coppola Chupacabra
Voto:
Of course I remember Imani Coppola!! The 90s were so beautiful and free... there was room for almost everyone.
This review made me want to explore the whole album, not just the single "Legend of a Cowgirl," which I still enjoy listening to today!! :)

very very well done review!
the twin girls... appeal to my musical taste for about 25%, but they do alright ;)

@CHAE: um... I was talking about vulgar language in real life: sometimes you just can't avoid it (and I think the same goes for records)! :)
Broadcast Work and Non Work

Chae, make sure to listen to the next album too, The Noise Made By People: it's a masterpiece! :)

I mean, Chae, if a brick fell on your foot, I don't think you'd exclaim "oh, what pain!", but rather "damn it!!!"

You're welcome, Chae. It's a pleasure to converse with people who have an open musical mindset. Best regards, JS
Fiona Apple Extraordinary Machine

Very informative review, but what does it say about the music? Not much! :(
Fiona Apple is a great artist, unfortunately undervalued and sadly I believe it's also because she is a beautiful woman... Isn't it ironic?

Thank you for reminding me about the Vacuums! But "I Breathe" isn't on this album... or is it?? From how you describe their tracks, I might like them (I did like I Breathe)... so thanks.

Look Chae, when I was talking about American rap I indeed said "I'm speaking in general" to make it clear that I wasn't painting everyone with the same brush... I know very well that there are artists who use a different kind of language, for example, my all-time favorite group, De La Soul (whom I've been following since 1989, in fact). I understand your point of view, but in my opinion, "quanno ce vo' ce vo'", just like in real life, so it is in songs. A-ri-Peace! :)
