Alright, I wanted to clarify one thing: Carouselambra is the worst track on the album for me. It's relaxing to listen to casually, but it's boring if listened to attentively; I agree with the reviewer on this. The other tracks for me are just passable, except for In The Evening, All My Love, and I'm Gonna Crawl, which are interesting.

Indeed, this is not a bad album at all; of course, it's not on par with the first four, but it's not too shabby. I would say they could have wrapped up their story in a better way, but they could have given us a real disaster. And then I disagree about Carouselambra; it's not a masterpiece, but for me, it doesn't try to imitate the epic tracks of the Zep. I mean, there are too many keyboards, but it's a relaxing piece. Also, Hot Dog – it's not a masterpiece, but it's charming. To conclude, I would say it's below the average of the first albums, but for that, it has been underrated. Well, now I'm going to listen to the third one, which is a true masterpiece.

I completely agree with the review; however, I am a fan of Van Halen, and if this isn’t a masterpiece, the next one is. For me, it’s second only to Van Halen I and 1984, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

Masterpiece album, nice review, but wasn't Fade To Black written when they had their equipment (amps, guitars, etc.) stolen? And then I like Trapped Under Ice, even though it's not at the level of Ride The Lightning.
