Uhm..... I'm not so sure that Thompson is better than Tribbett. And also about Corey and Chad being on the same level: Corey has only held out for two albums, now he no longer has a voice, as a screamer he's pretty much done. Can't say anything regarding Jordison (one of the best drummers in the genre), and Martine (one of the best bassists in the genre). Not to mention that the Mud are a 4-piece and all members are essential, while the Knot are 9, of which at least 5 members are USELESS. Useless like discussions of this kind, byezzz.

The HELLYEAH project is interesting; I listened to the two tracks on their space. Nothing groundbreaking, but an intriguing project nonetheless. Plus, there's a certain Vinnie Paul as well :)

Mick, about the technique, well, I think you really got it wrong here. Slipknot, aside from Jordison, can't boast overly technical members; Mudvayne, on the other hand, are all four great musicians. Anyway, this death metal album has nothing, not even a crumb. And amorphous? Not at all, considering that out of the three albums they've made, this is the most "linear" and "normal". Long live pussy.
