I am the biggest Italian fan of Primus, and if you appreciated them at least half as much as I love them, you would know that Les Claypool has always cited Rush as his source of inspiration, in addition to having supported them as an opening act on many occasions... and having had a certain Mr. Geddy Lee sign the pick of his Carl Thompson, like any other fan… by the way: not all unclassifiable music is "cool"... there's a lot of crap even in the "uncategorizable"...

AND I SAY FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THAT THEY ARE INDUSTRIAL DUMPING GROUPS, NOT INNOVATORS AT ALL... AND IF THEY HAVE BEEN, THEY HAVE GENERATED GARBAGE... it's true, they are not innovators... they were one of the greatest progressive rock bands of all time and among the first to use synths (if you know what they are) in hard rock... you really stepped into a big pile of shit... you may like Rush or not, but if you say they were not innovators, it means you have very limited musical knowledge, my son...

2 small clarifications: the song is "Shadow Boxing" (not Boxer) and the last track of the album is "Faith Weather Faith"... also, as a ghost song after this one, there's another one that I believe is called "Waiting for the punchline"... and now I'm voting.

Definitely different from Pornograffitti and III Sides, Bettencourt takes a bit of a step back and the band as a whole comes more to the forefront...Midnight Express alone is worth the purchase of the album...I still really like this CD even after 10 years...pure and simple rock. Extreme were strong, it's a shame they broke up and that Cherone then went to Van Halen...
p.s. I don’t believe Bettencourt has anything to do with Angra.

Good reception. I have the album and honestly, it didn’t leave much of an impression on me. As you said, it lacks originality; Guns and Stone were something else. In my opinion, it’s a decent album with a few good tracks (Sucker Train Blues, Slither, Big Machine, and a couple of others), but nothing exceptional. The classic album of listenable songs that, an hour after listening, you can't remember a single one. I want to give it another chance with the next album, but I have a feeling we’ll be at this level again.
Fatboy Slim / Paul Weller Flippaut - Prima serata

Nice review, the flippaut has been crap for years... the last good edition was the one in 2003.
