of a thickening of the dividing wall between the urethra and the vagina that would be identified with the G-spot. Talking instead about the Fallopian tubes (named after the 16th-century Italian anatomist Gabriele Falloppia), also called salpinges (from the Greek σαληνιγξ [salpìnx] meaning trumpet, tube, alluding to their shape), uterine tubes, or oviducts, they are two paired and symmetrical tubular organs whose sole function is reproductive. Their role is to capture the ovum and sperm and enable fertilization. They measure between 12 and 18 centimeters in length and can be up to 3 millimeters in thickness. They are covered by the peritoneum and are connected to the peritoneal cavity by peritoneal folds called mesosalpinges.
The Fallopian tubes can ideally be divided into four sections:
the infundibulum, which has a funnel shape and is the section closest to the ovaries
the ampullary part, which is the longest part, about 6 - 7 centimeters. It regulates the transit of gametes and embryo transit through contractions and subsequent relaxations
the isthmic part, which is a section about 2 - 3 centimeters long, is almost linear and slender
the interstitial part, which is the shortest segment and is where the tube enters the myometrium to reach the uterine cavity.

The G-spot, or Gräfenberg spot, named after German gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg who first described it, is said to be a particularly sensitive area of the vagina, although the presence of a high concentration of nerve endings in this region is still the subject of studies and debate. In Eastern culture, there was already a known area of a woman's body that, beyond the clitoris, was crucial for her sexual pleasure: in ancient philosophical and religious texts, this area was referred to as the "point of the sun" or "point of pleasure." In the West, in the second half of the 17th century, a Dutch physician and apothecary, Reigner de Graaf (1641-1693), in a medical treatise – which has since been lost, but is recalled in writings by various contemporary authors – mentioned the presence of an area near the vagina that was particularly erogenous. In modern times, Ernst Gräfenberg was the first to publish a detailed scientific study in 1950, claiming the existence of an area within the vagina from which female sexual pleasure originated. The research raised many doubts and disbelief, and it is still a source of discussion, with numerous gynecologists denying its existence. Tests that have systematically examined the innervation of the vaginal wall demonstrate that there is no area or point of greater innervation or higher density of nerve endings. The study investigated 110 biopsies from 21 women, concluding that a site of greater innervation or density of innervation is absent in the human vagina. Despite this evidence, the concept of the existence of a "G-spot" has been widely accepted by public opinion. Gräfenberg believed he identified the G-spot in the space between the anterior wall of the vagina and the posterior wall of the bladder, at a depth of six to eight centimeters from the entrance of the vaginal canal, and in the same area, the presence of a tissue thought to be a remnant of a primordial female prostate gland was already known. More precisely, the G-spot would be located on the anterior wall of the vagina, in its lower third, anatomically corresponding to a sleeve of erectile tissue (similar to the corpora cavernosa of the penis, which is present in the female anatomy also at the level of the clitoris) surrounding the urethra, thus it is the vaginal projection of a structure positioned deeper (about 1 cm from the mucosa). To pinpoint this position, the pubic bone can be used as an anatomical reference point: the G-spot would be found in the vagina approximately at this level, but its identification proves quite challenging due to its small size and the thickness of the vaginal wall. Stimulation of this area causes it to swell through the mechanism of blood engorgement, typical of the corpora cavernosa, and at the moment of orgasm, it may be accompanied by the release of a gush of transudative fluid. The best conditions for exploring the G-spot only present themselves when the woman is in a state of full sexual arousal, at which point the G-spot swells and increases in size; however, the complexity of the female libido mechanism does not make it easy to reproduce this condition in a laboratory setting. Consequently, few studies on the matter have been conducted with rigorous scientific methodology. According to Australian researcher Helen O'Connell, the G-spot is actually the terminal part of the internal structure of the clitoris, which can reach an overall length of 10 centimeters within the female body. In February 2008, Professor Emmanuele Jannini, Professor of Medical Sexology at the University of L'Aquila, published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine a study aimed at demonstrating, also through vaginal ultrasounds, the presence – only in some women – of a thickening of the dividing wall between the urethra and vagina that should be identified with the G-spot.

Sexual penetration usually refers to the physical act of sexual union between two or more individuals. This act can be performed by people with bisexual, heterosexual, or homosexual orientations. It consists of the insertion of the penis into the vagina or the anus of the partner; in the latter case, it is referred to as anal sex. Improperly, the term penetration can also be used to describe oral sex or masturbation understood as the introduction of fingers or hands (fisting) into the vagina or anus. When we talk about sexual penetration, it also refers to sex practiced with objects, for example, through plugs, dildos, or vibrators, and so generally to the insertion of any object or body part into any orifice of the male or female body, in order to obtain sensations of pleasure and sexual excitement. In these activities, generally, to reduce the risk of unwanted pregnancies or sexually transmitted diseases, condoms are used; an intimate lubricant is indispensable in some cases and is nonetheless a valuable aid for the comfort of the practice. A sexual toy generally refers to a small or medium-sized object made from various materials, used during sexual activities both in pairs and in groups, or even individually, to enhance eroticism. There are categories of objects targeted at various types of audiences, such as sadomasochism, bondage, autoeroticism, and others. Among the most commonly used are vibrators, dildos, and inflatable dolls, as well as Ben Wa balls or Chinese balls, whips, ropes, handcuffs, clitoral stimulators, vibrating rings, cock rings, and many others, including simulacra of some parts of the human body, such as hands, tongues, vaginas, and anuses, usually made from plastic materials that resemble human skin in appearance and touch; some of these feature internal mechanisms powered by batteries, capable of simulating the movement of the anatomical part. Household objects, as well as certain phallic-shaped vegetables, can be used as sexual toys, for example, spoons, ice cubes, feathers, carrots, zucchinis, etc. Beverages and foods in cream form, as well as liquors and chocolate, can also be part of the play. Some medical tools and instruments are used for this purpose; the use of enemas is common, as well as various types of dilators, both anal and vaginal.

The term pegging refers to a sexual practice in which a man is anally penetrated by a woman wearing a strap-on dildo. Pegging is the winning term in the neologism contest organized by Dan Savage in June 2001 in his Savage Love column. In that context, the connotation was heterosexual; the contest was held after Savage noted that there was no common name for this practice. Pegging can be pleasurable for both partners. The term pegging describes a sexual practice in which a man is anally penetrated by a woman, providing her with sensations and excitement. Couples who start practicing pegging not only enhance their sexuality but also improve their relationship, and usually, once begun, the practice is not abandoned; instead, it becomes a staple in the foreplay of sexual relations. According to some Eastern traditions, the act is believed to bring good luck to the woman, the stronger the pleasure she feels from the act given to her by the man underneath. Men might enjoy the stimulation of the anus, the rectum, and adjacent organs – especially the prostate – provided that sufficient lubricant is used. The Ben Wa balls, also known as geisha balls or, more improperly, Chinese balls, are small metal spheres, generally hollow, containing a small weight that can move inside the ball. They are used for massages, meditation, and sexual stimulation (by inserting them into the vagina or anus). In the latter case, as a sex toy, the balls can be inserted by the woman into her vagina during actual sexual activity or at different moments during daily life, providing light but persistent erotic stimulation due to the constant movement of the weight contained within the spheres throughout the day. There are various forms of this object, with multiple appearances and materials: for example, rubber balls with small surface bumps, or smaller balls arranged in a line like a sort of necklace, which, as a sex toy, can be more easily used for stimulation of the inside of the anus. Some can be completely solid, or contain bells inside, while other more recent versions made of plastic that encase smaller metal balls are known as duotone balls. It is possible to leave the balls in the vagina for a day, or use them while sitting on a rocking chair for an effect that some find enjoyable. The Ben Wa balls are believed to originate from Japan, where they are called rin no tama (???) ('tinkling bells') and were made of metal or ivory. In Chinese, Ben Wa spheres are known as ??. "Ben Wa" is a trademark. Originally, it was a single sphere placed in the vagina, used to enhance pleasure during intercourse, but shortly after evolved into a series of multiple metal-covered spheres connected by a silk cord for easy removal.

The 69 position, also known by its French name soixante-neuf, is a sexual position that allows for oral sex while simultaneously stimulating the genitals of both partners (who assume a position that resembles the number 69, hence the name). Usually, both individuals lie down, one on top of the other, placing each person's head near the other's genitals. This way, the genitals of both can be stimulated orally at the same time. The 69 position is referred to in the Kamasutra as "Congress of the Crow," due to the fact that "each of the two partners receives something impure in their mouth." A gang bang is a situation in which an individual, either male or female, engages in various types of sexual activities with multiple partners, not necessarily of the opposite sex. It differs in this sense from an orgy or group sex, which it constitutes a particular specialty of, because in this case the relationship is one-to-many, meaning that the subject at the center of the gang bang is the focus of all the other participants. This sexual practice has origins that date back to ancient times, clearly ascending, as a suggestive reference, to the ritual orgies typical of ancient cults (e.g., Bacchic processions or festivals in honor of Dionysus), as well as to specific female figures characterized by their dedication to sex in a particularly lewd and voluptuous manner. For instance, in classical Rome, there are mentions of sexual marathons, real or alleged, of Empress Messalina, who supposedly had sexual relations with as many as 25 men in a single day. In the 16th century, it was a common and highly sought-after practice among courtesans known as Trentuno, which likely refers to the 31 days of the month concentrated into a single day, consisting of being taken by thirty-one men consecutively, as narrated by Lorenzo Veniero in the poem La Zaffetta, celebrating the skills of the Venetian courtesan Angiola Zaffetta. This genre has a vast pornographic illustration, particularly through videos; one can consider the specific genre that seeks to represent the largest gang bang, in terms of duration and number of participants.
