What a pity! I saw them a couple of months ago in my area... well, I didn’t throw them my Jack&Coke just because I paid 6 euros! The singer's voice is annoying, the melodies are worn out and overused, there’s no groove, the lyrics are incredibly banal... I repeat: what a pity!

Premise: I haven't seen the live performance on MTV or the DVD being reviewed here; I limited myself to downloading the MP3s. First of all, I agree with those who say (Zion) that this compilation adds nothing to their discography, but in my opinion, this was not their objective. Just as it certainly is not to exploit the post-Xfactor Morganian wave. The BV have always been a "commercial" group in the good sense of the term; Sanremo '01, pop singles, a lot of familiarity with TV and media in general... I simply think that once the (very good) solo project by Morgan was finished, they wanted to get back in the game... if they fail, I don't think it changes much for them.
Regarding this album, it's really not bad! Stunning La Crisi in acoustic version and a well-chosen tracklist with great classics and beyond... the only flaw is Morgan's voice, very strained, lacking expressiveness, almost as if he had a sore throat! Seriously!
The review is really unreadable! You don't say anything interesting, and that little bit you do say lacks any understanding of the subject!

I saw them live about a year ago...fantastic! But I only know a few songs by them...what do you think, should I start with this "tribute" to get to know them better?

I saw it a while ago on Sky... not bad... as you said, a light but enjoyable film! Nice review!
The Cure The Only One

I don't expect anything from this album... nor from the single (which I’m now looking for)... even for an indispensable band like the Cure, the years go by, ideas run thin, and the albums suck. Let's be clear, it's been since Wish that the Cure hasn't released a good album... Bloodflowers, WMS, The Cure, Greatest Hits... all albums just thrown out there... just to accompany their tours; which are truly spectacular... Taormina '05... that was a CONCERT!!!

In fact... the way you talk about them doesn't really make me want to listen to them at all! Then reading that the bassist is better at backing vocals than at playing makes you think!

Not to be a buzzkill... but there are millions of artists and albums... is it possible that every day there's someone reviewing the DT? I mean, really! How many are we at now? 14634???
