Interesting, it's been a while since I listened to new metal music, I might start again from this.

Alright, you convinced me. Today I woke up with epic breath, so I will definitely go buy the record.

There’s not much to laugh about, these people listen to 1 cent of the types of music that exist, they only understand the songs with the guitar (and only one kind of guitar), they write on their profiles that their favorite artists are all the guitar heroes, and they don’t understand a thing, but they keep bothering everyone and use the Ibanez pick as a profile picture because it looks cool among the shredders. It’s such a limited view of music that it makes me shiver, god, with all the different stuff that has been created in rock, jazz, classical music, these folks get stuck in such a narrow field that it shrinks their brains. It’s like if I went to Gardaland and only rode the Top Spin for the entire day, a hundred times. That would be really stupid.

I didn't throw shade at Eyes Wide Shut, which I consider a great film. But Tom Cruise just isn’t up to par, how can you not see that? There’s no depth in his acting, in his looks. He’s much better when he’s doing action movies that don’t require much skill, like Top Gun or Mission Impossible.

"My God, what a stratospheric ass!" -----> I will always love Kubrick, not only for his films but also for the fact that he insisted on framing Nicole Kidman's butt.

"Tom Cruise is capable of much more"----> I disagree: Tom Cruise has never been able to surpass his limits, not even with Kubrick. In Eyes Wide Shut he seems embalmed, with his forced glances. Are we joking? One of the most overhyped and useless American actors.

In those albums by Robert Wyatt, there’s jazz, there’s classical music, there’s rock, along with a constant experimentation that is never self-serving. It’s no coincidence that Rock Bottom features Mike Oldfield, a great guitarist and composer, and I emphasize composer, because perhaps in the guitarist community full of gearheads this term isn’t fashionable. Yet I am convinced that beyond his shitty fans who don’t even grasp the basics, someone like Steve Vai admires all these artists, and it’s no coincidence that he played with Frank Zappa, who is a great experimenter on par with Neu, Popol Vuh, Can, and so on.

But shut up, you ignorant! I hate guitarists like you who don't listen to a damn thing that doesn't have the guitar all dolled up with the usual solos. You've wrecked music; you're the death of it. You quote any fart from Jason Becker and don’t even know who Brian Eno is half the time. But how the hell do you dare talk about Robert Wyatt like that? Have you even listened to albums like Rock Bottom and Shleep, you piece of superficial idiot? But how the hell do you listen to music? The hit on the box and the breath annoys you, and you don’t hear everything that’s underneath. You should be banned for your stupidity, not to mention the bullshit you come up with about nonconformists.
Carlo Verdone Viaggi Di Nozze

Well. With Carlo Verdone, you watch a movie and say, "Damn, good job, funny, and with a very personal type of comedy and well-crafted characters." You watch 2 and say, "Not bad, but a bit redundant." By the 3rd movie, he starts to wear you down, due to the lack of ideas; he has very few and repeats them to the point of exhaustion. I definitely wrote him off when he made that damn mess with Muccino.
