I gladly watched it; I liked it without it making me shout masterpiece. In the end, I'd happily give it a 7.
"Are you sure Morrison was that great?" ------> Are you sure you understand why he became so great? It certainly isn't for having revolutionized the world of poetry.

When you talk too much about music and listen to too much music, you always end up in snobbery, beautiful little girl. It’s a normal and inevitable mental pathway, and obviously unavoidable as well. It’s also normal that here on debasr you find many terminally ill individuals defending their pure ideals of music that has something extra in it, or not, or maybe. It’s a usual routine. I belong to the category of terminally ill. Nice to meet you, know-it-all.

"shooting down completely, fishing out as the only listenable things the usual names from Scaruffi 15 years ago." Look, let me tell you: really zero. Don't play the psychologist of the users, because you risk missing the mark spectacularly. I don't only listen to bands from 15 years ago, moreover I don't consider myself a critic of anything, just a listener and from a listener's perspective I speak.
The tracks are well-structured, well-thought-out, with excellent taste for melodies and a clear idea of what to do, for Christ's sake! It seems like you’re talking about a university thesis. There are people, especially across the ocean, who with much less in their pockets have achieved much more success, huh. So what?
Your description of the band only confirms what I've said above, namely: an honest, nice band, light-years away from both talent and genius. They do their homework. There you go. But don’t get annoyed at my opinion, okay? It’s just an opinion. And that is: this album doesn’t deserve attention.

Exactly, dividing opinions is nice, just like the ceramic vase in my living room or the cherry wood table in the kitchen. It's just beautiful. I'm not looking for all that from music. I'm not looking for records that deserve their 6.5 just because "they're nice." Are you? Lucky you.

And I specify that I’m not upset with you for reviewing them so well, but I’m upset with you because I know you want to steal my girl.

And I add that I have seen them live as well, which certainly does not improve my opinion of them. Neither geniuses nor talented.

"Alongside 'Afraid To Dance' by Port-Royal and 'Dividing Opinions' by Giardini Di Mirò, 'A Sky With No Stars' is a serious contender for the best Italian album of 2007!" -------> "Yeah, sure, why not, add Technicolor Dreams by Toy's Orchestra and you’ll have reached the peak of mediocrity and predictability that the term indie has assumed in Italy like elsewhere. The album deserves a 5.5. To be listened to mindlessly 3 times a year when you’ve run out of serious records."

I quote Syd Barrett. Epic Receipt. Instructional album.

I only pee upside down balancing on my hands. It's a matter of hygiene towards the ceilings of other people's homes. Rece didascalica. Disco epocale.
