Inconsistent because the great Porcupine Tree sound very modern, at least as much as Radiohead. Or do you want to tell me otherwise? Wilson has one of the most digital sounds I have ever heard. As for your speech about perfection, it's understandable. Back then, simple progressions could be milestones. Now you can't make harmonies that are too simple if you don't want to become repetitive.

If every time someone listens to a post-Pink Floyd music album to judge a band they compare it to Pink Floyd, it'd be better for them to wait until they grow up a bit. Because an album like this has absolutely nothing to do with Pink Floyd.

You said it well: you don't like them. Which doesn't mean a damn thing about the value of this great band. Just as great were (and are) Porcupine Tree, even though the reason for their lack of commercial success (not on the level of Radiohead) lies in the fact that the vocals are one of their weak points, while in Radiohead, the expressiveness of the voice is their strong suit.

Non-existent music and trivial lyrics, which I would expect to see at most in the secret diary of a fourteen-year-old. This is what these multi-billionaire people produce, and Pausini falls squarely into this category.
