The extreme stupidity of these people is that as soon as they hear anything too electronic or other (like hardcore in Mars Volta) in their ear, they curl up and reject new sounds. If they understood that to make serious electronic music you need to have the balls at least as much as Genesis, maybe it would be a good and right thing. The contaminations with all genres (including hip hop) and the electronic sound progression made of modified sounds (not the piripipi of stupid prog solos) should, in my opinion, be a new starting point. Those who say that music after 1977 is no longer important have a very limited ear. But whatever.

Damn, I’ve never listened to New Order and from the review it seems I’m missing out on something great.

Charles Ives The Unanswered Question

Well, I'm glad to have sparked some curiosity. In p2p you can definitely find the piece performed by the orchestra. If you're looking for Ives' works on CD, however, the search becomes a bit more challenging. But on eMule, for example, you can find it easily.

Good job, lethe, I haven't even read it. Save me the effort, I've read the highlights in your comment. And now I'm voting! P.S.: Good job 2 the revenge, finally someone who says that fuel is embarrassing.

The truly superfluous thing that happened after 1977 is the closing of this otherwise very beautiful review.

This album is crap (three stars my ass), everyone knows it by now, even Metallica. I’m inclined to give it two stars just because they've managed to do worse with St. Anger. Everyone already knows that the next Metallica album is going to be crap even though it hasn’t come out yet. They’re just shit now, and they know it. But they’re shit that makes billions with every piece of garbage they churn out. The verb is "to ruin a career that started in the best possible way."
