@ Mista: Yes, I know, what you told me is the first problem I'm going to try to solve soon, and unfortunately, it's something that at times hinders the album. But I assure you that for a first album I couldn't have done otherwise, because I'm in university, which leaves me little time, and I don't have much money to afford suitable equipment to record decently. In fact, for now, I've only been able to afford the necessary things for the guitar.

Dracula, you're mistaken. Because the first thing I told those who listen to what I do is to give me advice for the future, as I intend to write many more things. But what can I do with the words of someone who writes: "My know-it-all, I downloaded and listened... it would have been better if I hadn't, a chilling thing with no inspiration just like billions of doses I've already heard billions of times. If I were you, I would avoid criticizing anyone else, not just the Verdena, but even the Pooh" and writes this after listening to the album for 5 minutes? I’ll tell you more: try to find me a post where I speak arrogantly about my music; in fact, I would say you won’t find even one post where I talk about it. The only thing I've done is give in to the flattery of some curious users, something that I immediately remedy. I’ll take down all the links right away, since you consider me arrogant and incapable.

I knew there would be the usual people contextualizing the music I make with what I write on the forum. Anyway, it often takes me months to judge an album. That's why I don't even consider the destructive criticism of Dracula made after just 5 minutes of listening. For the record, I listened to Mista's tracks for an entire week by visiting his MySpace, and I still don't feel ready to validate the sensations I expressed during the first listens.

Thank you, and to think that I posted the link to the site a quarter of an hour ago. I would say your critical skills are record-breaking. Prejudices galore. Since I write on the forum, it's clearly hard to be detached from likes and dislikes.

And I updated my profile with all the necessary information to find what I do.

Always at Mista: I understand your reasoning about adapting to different types of listening, and it's something I apply a lot myself, but as you can well imagine, there are still areas where adaptation doesn't work, either because my conception of music is diametrically opposed to what I'm listening to, or because the sound comes across as impersonal and déjà vu. This particularly happens to me in genres like post-rock or the new wave of recent years (which I stubbornly continue to call that). In fact, let's say it only happens with these genres. Genres in which there are bands that I still really enjoy: for example, I really appreciated the latest album by Giardini di Mirò.

Mista, actually I've already been on your profile and listened to the Maradona tracks about a month ago :-)). Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on them; it's mainly because they sound good, but perhaps the pieces you create are a bit too standard. Of course, this isn't meant to be destructive criticism; on the contrary... you know how many bands at the beginning didn't really stand out and then, over time, matured and showcased their talents only after being together for quite a while. Anyway, let's say that I'm not a fan of how your guitarist sounds (I'm a guitarist myself, and I admit it's very difficult to satisfy me), while I did like the rhythm section in several parts.

So: First: music does not start in the '60s. Enough with this belief. Enough.

This parody literally disgusts me. I really love Star Whores and Sperman made by Carletto dei Gem Boy, which I consider masterpieces in their genre, but this one and the third by Carletto (the legend of useless men) I find lacking in creativity.
