Anyway, one thing, don't take it personally: I don't know, it seems to me that you keep praising the same type and concept of making music over and over. Of course, I might be mistaken, but it's just how I feel. Your conception of what music matters seems a bit limited to me.

This album is not a masterpiece, there's no doubt about that (although to judge it properly we should wait for the test of time). But it is still a good album, and my 5 means to highlight the fact that it’s one of the few truly noteworthy albums in quite some time. But if you want to listen to something new, you could also take a walk over to the avant-gardes, like Zu with Eraldo Bernocchi, who will soon release the Black Engine project. You see, that’s a tension towards the avant-garde. The Arcade Fire are definitely something else, nothing new (despite many bumbling critics hailing them as bearers of new light), but I would say your critique would have fit well with banal groups like Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, and other nonsense. However, it seems a bit out of place with the Arcade Fire. I also don’t understand your reference to Dream Theater, a band I appreciate for their early works (Images and Words, Awake), which produced music of the highest level, only to gradually fall into an abyss of citations and academicism. But not everyone who meticulously cares for arrangements is academic, if that's what you meant to say. In the end, it boils down to de gustibus. The problem is that from a certain point of view, you and I agree, because all the fuss stirred up by certain critics seems pointless and ridiculous to me as well.

But isn't anyone noticing that the great Vrensis has returned? Isn't anyone celebrating him? Come on, don’t be shy.

Ah, I’ll add on why so few have acknowledged this review: it’s logical that if reviews only stay on the homepage for a handful of hours, many will miss them. Yesterday, when I saw it, I had promised myself to come back to it; I honestly thought it would last until today. Then, I checked the homepage again today and it was already gone.

Yes, it's true, it's been a while since blues has been hard to come by in the recording industry, but the activity of bluesmen in live performances still seems intense to me. For example, I know a great Italian Blues guitarist, Paolo Bonfanti, who plays in venues all around and is extremely talented, even though you'll never find anything of his. In the niche, blues continues to thrive. When it comes to records and new music, not so much.

First thing: I agree, De Sade was a pornographer, and he was an artist.

Sorry, yesterday I had several commitments and I couldn't follow the discussion anymore. Now I'll read it again calmly.
