Almost entirely shareable for me, an album that knows how to entertain.

Nice review, but I can't digest Richard... after two listens of "A Song For The Lovers" I get cavities...

Look, I agree with you that I didn't describe the album well, in fact, almost not at all. As for the genre definition, I won’t comment further; I used Post-Hardcore to give a general idea of the music on the album. Honestly, it's well-known that there are a million different ways to play a musical genre, even diametrically opposed to each other, but what a drag, guys! No matter what word I would have used to indicate the genre, I would have been criticized anyway. If you put emocore, they'll say the real emocore is elsewhere; if you put rock, they'll say this isn't rock; if you put post-hardcore, that’s not good either. Seriously, what the hell! :P

If I’m told that a band plays post-hardcore, I imagine a punk/rock sound with very fast rhythms spiced up with the use of screams, the same genre of music played by the aforementioned FFAF. So, if you don’t like the name given to this musical genre, take it up with the record labels and the international press, not with me.

I like synthetic rce.
We could debate the musical genre for hours... Post-Hardcore is the most commonly used one.
