Dear Albi, you can’t help but agree with me. I broadened the discussion just to generalize and make myself understood, that's all. My point is exactly this. One "settles" for what is shoved at them by radio, TV, etc., because fundamentally they are not passionate, they don’t really care, they are a casual listener. The world is full of them. Excellent album, much better than the previous Miramare. "Tutto più chiaro che qui" is a great track that alone is worth the purchase, but songs like "Povero me" or "Rumore di niente" are no less and make you overlook a couple of less successful episodes. Overall, a solid 4.

Seriously, "I don't read because I don't have time," "I don't listen to music because I don't have time," "I don't hook up because I don't have time" are massive bullshit. The time you spend masturbating in front of MTV can be used to find good music or good books or whatever else. And it won't deny you a "social life," I guarantee it. Absolutely agree on the underestimation of this album, but I must reiterate that the subsequent Division Bell is a superior album, also thanks to a Wright who has found himself again as a songwriter, a Mason who is much more present, and generally to a greater naturalness of the sound. I might be repeating myself, but AMLOR suffers, in my view, from an excessively heavy use of the computer.
