A very ugly album that brings Venditti to the artistic level of the Spice Girls, except that he, not having any hotness to show off, had to sell (always in an artistic sense, of course) his backside. He will never rise again.

The comparison between Villaggio and Totò doesn't hold up because they are two completely different artists... it's like comparing a striker to a playmaker; it doesn't even make sense. Villaggio, before being an actor, is a writer, a humorist, and that’s where his true greatness lies. The film is historic even though Il Secondo Tragico is even more entertaining.

It seems incredible, but there was a time, not too long ago, when Minghi was marketed as a great author of Italian songs; he was called (he made himself called) Maestro, just to say... then thankfully this passed. Terrible.
