Incredible, they did it.
They managed to piss off millions of people.
I was already imagining the title: LED ZEPPELIN ARCHIES AND LIVE 6 cds.
And I would have already been at my favorite record store, intent on spending any amount for a scrap of unreleased tracks.
... Instead... Dear Jimmy and his faithful Atlantic buddies (which no longer even exists) one fine day gathered, discussed animatedly for about 15 minutes, and finally concluded that it would be convenient to put out the usual 25 famous tracks and finish the afternoon playing cards.
THEY PRACTICALLY REHASHED A BEST OF FROM 17 YEARS AGO (note: the imaginative Remasters)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fans have been waiting for almost 30 years for something: a few years ago the wonderful HTWWW and the related DVD (totally different from each other) came out, which "satisfied" the live "appetites," but now we are back to square one.
I was really hoping for it, but the reality is clear to everyone: it's now clear that the fantastic-amazing-overflowing archive of Page is actually empty.
There is absolutely nothing to say about an album that doesn't bring out even a meager unreleased track, not even a live version of whatever, not even a pitiful dialogue between the LZ (in the style of LET It Be... Naked), absolutely zero.
Ah... I forgot they EVEN added an extra DVD with the "puree" of the aforementioned fantastic double!
In conclusion, a commercial operation of recycling already recycled material: even if it is still a best-of, for me, an album like this becomes null
