And you finally made up your mind! Was it a laborious delivery? Was there the right midwife? Good job with the niland strings, but it’s not really my thing. Too much fingerpicking, too much Spain.

The film is the comic book, in every possible way. It is the comic book in the photography, in the dialogues, in the story, in Miller's collaboration on the film. Comic book and film are the same thing. Identical. The fact that the audience may not be aware of the comic has nothing to do with it. Go read the definition of kolossal and then we'll talk. About the special effects... you might be right. However, I struggle to identify special effects with visual effects (well, visual effects), I see them as two different realms, my flaw. Moreover, rating the review (which isn’t mine) based on my comment is a pure nonsense.

I don't care why you came back. Stop relating this film to Hollywood; it has nothing to do with it, it's not a blockbuster. Author's version that you don't even remember... the author. Great. Then let me reiterate: the film IS the comic. So if anything, it's the comic that is racist. Where, then? Enlighten me. Do you want to speak with knowledge of the facts? Go read the interviews with the director who, I reiterate, said he identified Xerxes with Bush. And for crying out loud: we're talking about Spartans, the Battle of Thermopylae, about Leonidas and Xerxes... which bloody Ephialtes do you think I'm talking about???
