but very vaguely. Rick McCollum's guitar is much more cutting and distinctive. Just think that, in my opinion, in Leif Erikson, Banks somewhat imitates Brendan Perry from the less mystical stuff of Dead Can Dance.

I'm not a great expert on the subject, but it's the first CD of theirs that I've listened to, and I liked it. Don Caballero 2 is a bit more challenging. For respect, excellently reviewed by Antmo, it's a really nice CD.

I discovered it because of a beautiful cover of "gouge away" by the Pixies. Great album, I love her raspy and at times rowdy voice. I've listened to bad as they seem until I was sick of it...

I listened to the EP again and gave the album a rather hasty listen... unfortunately, I have to reject it. The EP was more "unique," the album is cute, yes, but it seems like it wants to resemble too much what’s trendy right now. What a shame.
