Reading you in my morning stupor makes it seem like I’m not completely awake yet. Listening to this record again has the same effect. Perfect description. Sweet dreams to all. (how lazy your lazy friend)

But how kind and generous you all are. ari-thank you thank you thank you. @damaskinos: the sweek literally blew my mind back in October. The Shooting Star's Sigh... - Sweek - Recensione di trellheim By the way, han stubbe, clarinetist of DAAU, lent his breath to their latest album.

I think their records are unfortunately irretrievable in Italy. The first three can’t be found at all, neither here nor elsewhere, while this one and the previous Tub Gurnard Goodness can be ordered through the band’s website. And good luck to me.

Thanks to everyone. Enea, Malloy, and Lukin (great man!) have made some very valid observations, but I find this album exquisitely perfect in its instrumental integrity. Of course, the vocal works are also beautiful (we need new animals is neck and neck with this one), but I enjoy their versatility and the mystery that leaves me wondering what the next album will be like. Lukin's observation on Catfish Blues is also excellent, brilliantly rendered and sung by the Donkey Diesel (a rotating combo of musicians that in that incarnation includes all the DAAU and Gunter Nagels on vocals... and what a voice! Sounds like Tom Waits), available for free download, along with other lovely stuff, from here: link rotto (watch out for the spaces).

I’m listening to them right now. They remind me a bit of Okkervil River, but without their occasional more lively touch. The first one sounds like a song from the latest album by Louise Attaque. If you like these, you might also enjoy Margot & the Nuclear So & So's (similar, in the opening song they say "sackcloth and ashes," which makes me think they’re quoting 16 Horsepower, and I like that).

I still have to hear them, but you... you... you... fuck off. If the next album you review is one I don't know, I’ll cut you off. Oh.

Dear Breathing, so you're back at it! As you’ve seen, if you behave and follow those three simple rules on DeBaser, you’ll get published without too much hassle. So, please resend the review of Black Celebration Remixes 2004 without any references to other users. Assuming you want to see it published, of course. Haloa
