the only true rocker, whatever Ligabue might say? rather the only pseudo rocker (duck). in his career, he made two decent albums (siamo solo noi, colpa d'alfredo) and then a bunch of silly songs that my stoner friends forced me to listen to for whole nights; I preferred other types of musicians marginalized by the Italian press.

Here’s what Faust'o Rossi thinks of his first album <<<<Suicidio:
At first, in 1977, I had a different idea of music, probably linked to certain clichés, "star system" and silly things like that.
The first album, Suicidio, I believe is unbearable, completely fake, perhaps not in intention, but definitely in result; and so many contributed to producing a real nothingness.
The cover, certain lyrics not written by me, some arrangements, and all the image and atmosphere that were created, it was truly embarrassing, it was forced, a kind of Italian new-wave punk, Krisma, Decibel...
I understood that maybe it wasn't the right way, it wasn't exactly what interested me.
But I truly love two songs.

I saw the film many years ago; I don't even think I managed to watch it all. The review seems excellent to me, perhaps not universally agreeable but excellent.
