for the filthy logic of profit, dear Alessio. everyone holds on to their job no matter how much it disgusts them. recently I told my boss: "Do you know why I haven't quit? For two reasons: the salary I receive is about 30% higher than what they offer me elsewhere, and second, more importantly; I have a permanent contract, a union in the workshop that, for better or worse, protects me, and the cafeteria—why should I give that up?"

I only remember it as "querelle." I don't recognize the actors, except for Muti.@@@@There is > it’s the logic of profit not to use personal and collective protective measures because they cost in resources and time to educate people; individuals should be made aware of the risks they face, yet those in charge (whether bosses or various heads) evade responsibility. Just try going to my boss and asking to see the assessment of risks (which is fifteen years old when there were 30 of us in the workshop and not 120 like now); try asking the bricklayers if they held the meetings required by law 626 before entering the construction site. You say you’ve been a bricklayer—did you take the safety courses?

<<<When a blind man in crises.>> that is one of the most beautiful rock ballads of all time. <soldier of fortune> wasn’t bad either. How long has it been since I last listened to them?

Well, if back then you were into fellatio (fallatio), this was the movie for you (film?). More than a film, it feels like a comedy, with papier-mâché backgrounds, yellow being the dominant color in the scenes, a voiceover explaining the thoughts of the characters, and the blatant homosexuality of all the sailors who, deep down, genuinely love each other. I didn't quite grasp the plot either that night or, for that matter, 25 years ago. Anyway, I saw it during a night out from the military instead of Bingo Bongo; I watched Bingo Bongo the following week, another type of trash, maybe worse. (This morning I'm feeling chatty.)

the penis used as a sword? the other night I watched (after nearly 25 years) "Querelle", I don’t know if you remember that horrible movie (film?). anyway, it was a real slap to (false) moralists. far from the cowboys of Brocken.....
