DJ@@@@@@ you answered yourself...........La Mannoia (how boring she is) was a stand-in back then, maybe she had already sung something but no one knew her. Pescatore seems to have come out in the summer, Caffè Nero Bollente participated in Sanremo in January of the following year (yes, it seems to me they still had the festival in January back then).

Mannoia (when she was still unknown) was chosen to sing "Pescatore" with Bertoli. Bertoli, at the beginning of his career, was supported by Caselli also because they were from the same town (or thereabouts); he was definitely someone who could do as many as 250 concerts a year just to get known. Nevertheless, he was RIGHTLY considered a minor artist...
