@Donnie, where did you see Orietta Berti's records? I mention Berti because, in my opinion, she has a beautiful voice, but she’s always been given mediocre songs and she didn’t have the star physique. In my view, Baglioni is completely out of tune, while Battisti is just a bit off. Battisti is the only Italian artist who is still musically relevant, while the others, especially those from the '70s (let's forget the '60s, that's prehistoric), Bennato is even unlistenable, he sounds so old, I can only stand two LPs of Battiato (Patriots and L'era del cinghiale bianco), and I’ve never really listened to Baglioni except for what was played on the radio. Anyway, the names I mentioned were just examples; in my opinion, Baroni was missing something to truly become great, and he’s stayed halfway like many others; after all, not everyone can become a star.

It's a different comment!
If only Orietta Berti's voice were enough, she'd be cited more than Mina. However, if you choose to be a pop singer in life, you must have something more than just a voice. Look at Baglioni, Battisti, Bennato, Battiato, just to stick to the letter B. Here, I'm saying that if only the voice were enough—in terms of vocal clarity—everyone would quote Berti instead of Mina (to stick to Italy). Then, I mention a few singers who are definitely not in tune (Baglioni and Battisti are definitely off-key), but they managed to give something to the public long before the age of 30. In fact, after 30, they declined significantly.

I mentioned singers (all with a B) without voices but with overwhelming success, and a singer (with a B) with a voice but lower success, perhaps because those singers touched emotional chords that Baroni, just like Berti, couldn't reach. PS among those mentioned, I only save Battisti.
I mention Battisti because he is the only one of the cited who is still listenable.

Listen, Brusko, if you want, I can make you a list, although I believe it would be pointless. Baroni remains a good craftsman, with a nice voice for sure, but just a craftsman.
Here, I say Baroni has a nice voice, but that only puts him in the same category as Giorgia, another simple craftsman.
I repeat, if they want to make pop, let them do it, but don't whine about "not having enough time to make himself known." He died at 35 after all the big names in the Italian circus of Italian pop music tried to sell us on him.
PS BRUSKO, did you do the debaser tour yesterday afternoon? The next time you intend to relate to me, avoid expressions like "iside bella," and asking me for impossible lists (how much the record label invested, how many TV appearances). God knows if I think about the Sunday boredom.............. how much drugs do you consume?
