A masterpiece of a film, a legendary ending, one of the finest testaments to Chaplin's expressive greatness. No, in my opinion, there's no happy ending; the flower girl is clearly disappointed, her affection is merely a reflection of the pity she feels for the vagabond, a pity that also reveals her entire disillusionment. The expression on the vagabond's face is that of a man deeply embarrassed by his own condition, as he knows he has let down the expectations of the beautiful girl. A truly magnificent work. The soundtrack, needless to say, is exceptional, at least according to my understanding of a soundtrack. Simple and expressive.

I only know the group by reputation, but recently I saw a music video of theirs on RockTv. I don't remember the title of the song, but they were practically naked, all oiled up. I've never seen anything so disgusting; I was really starting to feel sick, and I had to change the channel. That's all that struck me.
