I don't know if it’s relevant, but just now while reading the news about the earthquake in Emilia (we felt it quite well even in Mantova), I stumbled upon Do you know the album "pollution - Gesto sonoro in sette atti dedicato al Centro Internazionale Studi Magnetici"? Well, the protagonist of the video, Pierluigi Ighina, is the founder of that International center, etc. I don’t know, I can totally see him as the hero of a hypothetical Tim Burton movie... And just to avoid misunderstandings, "Sulle corde di Aries" sucks...

I heard something on YouTube: more than Elio and Gaber, I felt the Battiato of the 80s. In fact, a parody of the Battiato from the 80s. Charming, young despite the album title, definitely better than many little Italian singer-songwriters that have come out in recent years (those have aged prematurely); as Alia says, he’s good live too (there’s a recent clip on his Facebook page), and he’s from Mantua like me. :-). Yet he can and must improve...
