Some time ago, caught up in the excitement, I gave it a 4 (if I remember correctly). Listening to it again, I think the most accurate rating would be a solid three out of five... good but only occasionally thrilling.

It was truly a magnificent concert like few others. A fantastic character, Fish: excellent singer, magnificent composer... and he's quite a "character." The atmosphere of the small venue we were in made the show even more beautiful. - "He then stops to sing directly in front of Roby86, who seems to not understand anything anymore": absolutely true... I had him practically an inch away, I was speechless. Just a fixed gaze of admiration (besides, he’s even impressive because of how big he is! ahaha!) - Wonderful choice of songs... particularly the more "cutting" interpretation of the old Marillion classics gives these songs an even more captivating soul... THIS IS THE STORY SO FAR.

Great album without a doubt, but from the folk trilogy I prefer "Stormwatch." Back to "Songs From The Wood"... many tracks of the highest caliber, but, in my opinion, there are a few (slightly) dull moments. However, I reiterate, overall it’s an excellent album!
